We have made some changes to our line editions this year to maximize each individuals tax situation.
So what you were able to claim in previous years, is no longer applicable. Let me explain...
- The FREE edition is limited to what can be applied. Go to this link - https://bit.ly/3roi8ay under the FREE edition and click on "simple tax returns", (in blue) which will explain what that edition covers. Anything beyond what is on that list, you will be prompted to upgrade to the edition that suits your personal circumstances.
- Deluxe edition, (name change from previous years known as Standard) - (Covers everything in FREE +) any type of medical receipts, donations or childcare claims.
- Premier edition - (Covers everything in Deluxe +) any type of investment income, cryptocurrency foreign or rental income.
- Self-Employment - (Covers everything in Premier +) Self-Employment income and expenses you need to claim.
So most likely whatever entries you have applied to your FREE edition, goes beyond what you can claim in it.
