Multiple T4s, one with no CPP1 but does have CPP2

I work for an employer that has paid me back pay in 2024.  The issue is the back pay was for time worked in a Quebec, and they therefore gave me my normal T4, and and additional T4/Revele 1 for the backpay.  The issue becomes what when I enter the QC slips into the software it will not accept them as I had paid the full amount of CPP1 but not yet the full amount of CPP2 (so both slips have only the CPP2 amount in them).  It give me the following error

When you enter an amount for extra CPP/QPP contributions in T4 boxes 16A or 17A, you also need to enter an amount for CPP/QPP contributions in the corresponding boxes 16 or 17. You can't enter an amount for CPP contributions and QPP contributions on the same T4, so make sure to only claim one type.

I am entering the information correctly in accordance with the slips that were issued to me. Has anyone encountered this before?  I know it is likely a 1 in a million or more chance of the timing working out the way it did.  Is my only choice to do the return by hand?

Box 16/17 on T4 is Employee's CPP/QPP contributions.
Box 16A/17A is Employee's second CPP/QPP contribution.

Technically, both amount should be on the same T4. If the last version of your T4 on your CRA My Account is not with box 16/17 and box 16A/17A on the same slip, we suggest you to contact CRA to see if you can combine both T4s together to have only 1 but with all the amount reflecting your 2024 year.

I too have this error, but I am entering two T4's from two provinces.

I maxed out the CPP in Province A, and have CPP2.

In Province B, there is no CPP (as it's maxed out) but there is CPP2.

The software rejects the zero value in CPP.

You can enter this manually in the 'Forms' section (T4), and ignore the error notification at the end.

However, I haven't seen if it will correctly NETFILE yet.

I guess if it won't I will try entering 0.01 and see where that gets me.

I contacted Turbotax support today and they said that Turbotax will not let me enter T4's from multiple provinces !!!

Even if they are both the same province, it still won't let me save, so come on Intuit - fix this issue!

Can you please clarify whether the T4s are or are not from the same province?
