Releve 1

I have a T4A and Releve 1 that reports Employment Income which is ONLY benefits from Prior employment.  But the R1 does NOT have a box 211, and therefore the return is triggering an amount for Deduction for Workers in Box 201.

TT won't allow me to override box 201 because then I won't be able to Netfile.  How do I get around this problem?  It is listed as an Error and therefore won't let me Netfile without addressing it.

Should I input a fake Box 211 on the R1?

Normally if the Relevé 1 is only for benefits and boxes A and J are filled out at the same amount, then box 211 should also reflect the same amount. Your employer possibly forgot to enter it, but you can either confirm with your employer or enter the amount in box 211 to avoid the deduction for workers being applied.
