Reporting sale of co-owned principal residence in EasyStep

My wife and I report our returns together. We sold our principal residence in 2025. Using EasyStep, it only asks one person for details of the sale even though it says it will also ask the other person but it does not. How do I resolve this problem?

Even though you are preparing a return together, the CRA requires each co-owner to personally designate the property on their own Schedule 3.

The software usually expects you to enter the details for each person individually, even if the information is identical. Please follow the TurboTax link below for step-by-step instructions:

How do I report the sale of my home (principal residence)?
