This past year has been a complete nightmare in regards to my tax return and my usage of TurboTax. The software has some fatal flaws, and it appears that Intuit Engineering is more focused on upselling you, than it is in producing a correct tax return. For some reason a tool that I used to rely on, is constantly trying to get more money from my wallet. Clearly so that little Sasan can get his annual bonus of millions. He's outsourced all support, and unempowered them to the point where I have to ask why anyone would want to work in that environment. All they can do is say sorry when confronted with the scam that is TurboTax. I'm truly disgusted with what Sasan Goodarzi has turned this company into. If he wanted to run a dollar store, he should've led Dollarama. It's truly time to find leadership at this organization, that can make Intuit the great company it once was. A short list of what I've experienced: The software incorrectly downloaded my T4 causing a mistake on my return, that was discovered after filing. The broken Netfile feature will eagerly block any ability to reFile, and when calling support they are clueless on how to fix it. After upgrading my motherboard on my PC, the software is now claiming I've used up all my activations and will not activate again. When calling unempowered Intuit support, they said sorry, and then told me I needed to by another copy. To fix it, they required me digging up the receipt. What they won't tell you is that if you bought the software at a store, and not online with Inuit, they won't honor the warranty for the product. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Why does it have to be this way Intuit? One last thing... when calling to complain. Sasan and the management team are in no hurry to help you, and will get back to you at their leisure after a few days or more.
