@hqkhan We are aware of this issue, and our development team is working on a resolution. Once it is resolved, we will update you in this thread. We appreciate your patience.
The CRA has just assessed my tax return and will receive my refund April 10th🎉🥳😊
I see the same, same date
for the two tax reports I made
so they were late most likely because many many many people filed on the 19th
I filed my return and also of my wife,s. we both has reported capital gains.
Both returns were assessed today and my official notice of assessment and refund will be available on April 10th.
So all done
Schedule 3 is still not fixed. I enter the data into Easy Step from T3 box 21 and 52 & 53 capital gains and nothing gets transferred to schedule 3. Trying to file without schedule 3 correct will make it look like I am not reporting these gains! When I called it in to tech support they said it had to do with cra netfile error codes, but I haven't even gotten to the filing step. Need a work-around that accurately reflects my income. Do I edit schedule 3 directly or will that generate error codes when I do try to file?
@LMC11The CRA has announced systems tax calculator errors that may affect your ability to file. These errors are affecting all CRA-certified tax software across Canada.
TurboTax is in direct contact with senior Government of Canada officials at CRA, underscoring the urgent need for accountability and decisive action to resolve these issues for our customers and all Canadians.
If you see one of these error codes, please visit What does my NETFILE error code mean and how do I fix it?
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
As of the update I received today, it seems that my Schedule 3 is now being updated from my Easy Step entry of my T3. Haven't tried to file yet but at least we have progress.
Is this fixed? my T3s do not populate to schedule and as such I cannot claim a net capital loss carryforward. I am not even sure if I am being taxed at 100% or 50% as prescribed. this is basic, I will never use this software again and I am going out of the country tomorrow.
Furthermore I just updated and it says there are no changes. So I can't claim my carryforward amounts and I do not see my gains on schedule 3. I would have done a better job doing this manually and saving the $90.
