Student Tax Credit on fees/expenses other than T2202
(international dental students going through the equivalency process in Canada).
I understand we get a T2202 receipt for tuition fees that can be claimed on our income tax returns for tax credits.
The question is, can we also claim expenses paid on materials, tools, loupes, etc. used to prepare ourselves for examination (I have receipts of payments made)? Any experiences on how to do it or if someone can share details that would be great. We have spent so much $$ on materials and I want to make sure I make the best use of the tax credits if available in my case.
Please guide...

As your question is very specific to your student status and tax related, I suggest you contact CRA directly for full details on which school supplies can be claimed.
We also suggest that you consult this link about various articles for students.
