The thing that worries me the most is their product verification process is poor. Perhaps there is only 1 intern engineer in the verification team? Since something this obvious is incorrect, what else are also incorrect that we have not discovered and is not tested during their verification? I would accept this kind of product quality if TurboTax is a freeware. But it is not!
You are correct, what else is not right with it? The sad truth is if this was freeware and it has these kind of issues and slow response to fixes, it will not exist for long.
How many have filed without realizing the errors and have lost the opportunity to maximize their return? It is costing us time and possibly $. Hope we get fixes very soon.
Hello; I have been waiting 'patiently' for 3 weeks (I needed to e-file bf April 1st). I have now missed that deadline. Please put more resources behind fixing this issue. I am very disappointed in TurboTax's response to this major issue.
@nerdboyjoe I am not sure why it is taking so long for TT to fix the bug[s]. I have been using TT for at least 15 years; but this year, kind of disappointed they are taking so long to correct this T3 problem.
TT: Please fix the bug promptly to allow us wiggle room to use other options - if yours can not be updated in time. The filing deadline is coming up on April 30th for most people.
Thanks and have a nice day.
It didn't work for me. It still shows the error. What else can I do?
We are aware of this issue, and our development team is working on a resolution. Currently we don't have any ETA. Once it is resolved, we will update you in this thread. We appreciate your patience.
I have tried deleting and re entering T3 Box 21, 52 and 53 and I have tried just entering the total of Box 52 and 53 into Box 53 and leaving Box 52 empty. I still cannot get past the error message that will not allow me to NETfile. This problem still is not fixed.
Still doesn't work. Cannot get past error message to NETFile.
Are you doing an income split in theThe capital gain? Just curious if it fails only for those doing an income split.
Same question as above…
Are you doing an income split with the capital gain?
