I don't see the GST check box on the first page of the T1. I've updated Turbo Tax so I'm not sure what the issue is.Is there supposed to be a check box for GST on the T1?

You no longer have to apply for the GST credit. Canada Revenue will automatically determine your eligibility for this credit when you file your return. For more info, please see http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bnfts/gsthst/menu-eng.html
