Transfer RRSP Contribution for Spousal Account

I have a spousal RRSP account. Contributions were made to it in 2021 directly from our joint bank account (i.e, the bank account is registered in both my and my husband's names). The issued RRSP contribution receipts were issued in my husband's name. Unfortunatly he ended up over-contributing to RRSP's in 2021.  Can I claim the contributions as my own since the money came from our joint account, if the receipts are in his name?

TIA

Transfer RRSP Contribution for Spousal Account

As per this Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) page: Contributing to your spouse's or common-law partner's RRSPs

“Contributions you make to a spousal or common-law partner RRSP reduce your RRSP deduction limit. The total amount you can deduct for contributions you make to your RRSP or your spouse's or common-law partner's RRSP cannot be more than your RRSP deduction limit.”

So, you will not be able to claim any amount that your husband over contributed.
