I have downloaded and activated TurboTax 2024 for Home and Business. The 2024 software does not recognize the tt23 from last year nor does it recognize the PDF file to transfer previous data. When asked to reenter my info it assumes I am in the US (I am located in Canada) and won't allow a Canadian Postal code (only numeric ZIP code) or allow me to select a province. What can I do to get this to work? It has not been and issue for the last 10+ years.
We were able to locate your order and it seems you bought the US software from the US TurboTax website. We suggest you to contact US product support and ask for a refund of this software.
Then, you'll be able to visit the Canadian TurboTax website and buy the proper 2024 software.
