As far as I know, it wasn’t fixed, it’s still not working and there is no work-around.
I spoke to someone on Sunday and she said there should be a fix available on Wednesday (April 16th)
Let’s hope so. Others were previously promised today (April 14) as the date today’s update would resolve things. It didn’t.
You can override an auto field by clicking F2 on the field but it warns you that you cannot Netfile (with overrides) but I guess if you need to print then this might be a solution for those who must file before there is a fix.
Can’t override the necessary lines in the T936 form … the cause of the error message when trying to NETFILE
I have the desktop version and if I click on the field (do not double click) and hit F2 it allows you to change but you won’t be able to net-file. But you can probably print and mail in.
Overriden field is in red font. I am still hoping for the fix so didn’t save my change.
What a pain! Don't override since Netfile will lock you out. That's where I am now. Probably going to mail it in or suffer the wait to talk to the CRA support line, Might be faster to submit than wait for TT to fix things. Unfortunately the refund will take forever. Frustrating.
You should be able to cancel your overrides. Did TurboTax let you attempt a Netfile with overrides. I thought it would not. I understood that the CRA locks you out after 5 attempts. I have used 2 already. The first time, and when TT support asked me to round my box 53 values (although I doubted this was the solution as the CRA message did not allude to this in any way). Only 3 attempts left.
Hi Anne04, yes TT let me attempt to Netfile. Then Netfile got pouty and locked me out.
Did you get the same CRA error message regarding T936 with the overrides?
TT should not have let you Net-file with overrides. 😔
