Warning about T4A and T2202

Warning: You received a scholarship amount on a T4A slip and also reported tuition fees on a T2202. To properly calculate your tax exemption, on your T4A, move the amount in the taxable box 105 to one of the other box 105 fields (either a part-time or full-time), as applicable.

Hi I receive this above mentioned warning. I imported and auto-filled my slips from the CRA resulting in 2 T4A slips. I added in my T2202 tuition amount under deductions. However, should I enter the T2202 tuition amount (box 26) also on the T4A slips? The T4A amounts from the CRA are different than my T2202 box 26, so I can't just "move the amount".

You can have the issuer correct the T4A slip for you. Correct, Box 26 represents "total eligible tuition fees, part-time and full-time." Report eligible tuition fees by completing Schedule 11. Enter the amount from line 10 of Schedule 11 on line 32300 of your return.
