Hi

Short answer is Yes.

You should file a return for yourself only as married. When entering your personal information, you will be asked to complete your spouse's information as well:

- Province of resident should be: non-resident

- Spouse's non res net income: choose "No" if it's not zero.

- Enter your spouse's net income in the "Net income from spouse non res's 2022 federal tax return " section.

- Your spouse might need to file a non-resident return based on his residency situation. Please check this link https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tips/non-resident-deemed-non-resident-12386

The reason you need to include your spouse's net income is for CRA to calculate credits and benefits accordingly.
