Where can I find my Student loan interest ? Is my bank suppose to give me a document ?

No, the bank doesn't give you a statement of interest paid. Only you can claim an amount for the interest you (or a person related to you) paid on your student loan in 2024 or the preceding 5 years.

If you have no tax payable for the year the interest is paid, it is better for you to carry the interest forward and apply it on your return for any of the next 5 years.

 

You will contact your student loan office or you can check your information on there to see the interest paid.
