Why does line 35000 show that I have credits, but not line 48200?

Line 35000 shows a credit amount, but that amount isn't added to line 482000.

Line 35000 is non-refundable tax credits. It is used to calculate the Net federal tax. The total of your Net federal tax will be on line 42000. If your total payable (line 43500) on your return is less than your total credits (line 48200), the difference shown on line 48400 is your refund.
