Will my capitals gains be calculated if I enter the T5008 which includes the ACB? I do not see them showing up in my income summary.

Yes you capital gains will be calculated for you after you enter your figures in the T5008. This is because TurboTax automatically calculates Capital Gain/Loss through the following formula (As required by the Canada Revenue Agency):

Proceeds of disposition – (adjusted cost base + outlays and expenses) = capital gain or loss

This figure is then shown on the Income Summary as: "Taxable capital gains". If it still does not show the correct figure under this line, there must be something incorrectly reported either under your "Capital Gains profile" or your T5008 slip, or that there may be a Capital Loss being reported in these items.
