Paying management fee from corp and EI

I plan on paying myself a management fee from my corporation. For part of the year I sometimes receive EI from working for another employer as a seasonal employee after we get laid off.

If I pay myself a management fee from my corp. to claim home office expenses and motor vehicle expenses, but my business income net is 0 on my personal tax return, would this interfere with EI, as technically I am not making any profit ? My income from my corp. is below my total expenses there.

Paying management fee from corp and EI

Paying yourself management fees could cause an issue with EI.  It would be best to ask that question of personnel at Service Canada.
