I have 2017 and 2018 to do for me and my wife. What product should I use? I have a rental property.

Looking for the lowest cost combination. So do I technically have 4 returns to do?  Or can One return do two year?

Yes that is correct, you will have 4 returns to complete. You will need to use TurboTax 2017 in order to do your 2017 returns and then get our TurboTax 2018 to complete this years.

We recommend that you use our Premier edition if you have rental property.

2018 Premier Online edition is $39.99 for the first return and $19.99 for the second one.

2017 Premier Online edition is $34.99 each.

The total then would be $129.96

Please note that if using a MAC computer you can only use our Online editions since our download editions are not compatible with MAC.

If using a Windows computer you can purchase our download version which would be $74.99 for 2018, which you can do both of yours. The 2017 download edition for Premier would be $74.99 also good for both of your returns. The total for using download edition would be $149.98.
