The Manitoba fitness tax credit is available to young adults and parents of children who were enrolled in an eligible program of physical activity. Eligible costs include registration and membership fees for sports-related program(s), up to $500 per eligible individual.

To get the credit, you must be a young adult between 16 and 24 years old, or have a child who was under 16 when the tax year ended. If you qualify for the Disability Tax Credit and spent at least $100 on membership or registration fees, you can claim an extra $500.

The fitness credit gives up to $54 per child or young adult, with an extra $54 for those with a disability.
