Can my daughter claim a post-secondary test application fee, and the colleges of Ontario application fee?
Examination fees paid to take an occupational, trade or professional examination, or to be licensed or certified as a tradesperson qualify as eligible tuition tax deductions. You should be provided with a receipt to substantiate your eligible exam fees and they must be over $100 each. An application fee does not meet the CRA requirements.
