    My wife was diagnosed with cancer in Jan 2016. Can I claim her as my dependent?

    First I wanted to provide you with my sincere best wishes for your wife and my prayers for the best outcome for you and your family.  It depend on her level of income and you potentially could claim as care giver.  It would be best to follow the easy step within turbo tax and answer the questions along the way to guide you.
