I accidentally deleted the return I was working on. Is there a way to restore it without re-starting a new return?

I accidentally deleted the return I was working on. Is there a way to restore it without re-starting a new return?

If your return has been deleted, unfortunately, we are not able to retrieve it. Before restarting a new return you may want to look around to see if it was saved.

 

If you used our TurboTax Online, please follow our TurboTax FAQ link to answer a few questions: Why can't I find my return? 

 

If you used Turbotax free and forgot to save your return, it is possible that it is no longer there.

 

Please check by logging into your online account using the same credentials you used to complete your return. You can also follow this TurboTax FAQ if needed: Where do I find a copy of my filed return in TurboTax Online?
