I have 2 kids from previous marriage. They spend every 2nd weekend with me. Can I claim them as dependants. What about my current wife's form and how do I handle that?

There is no longer a claim for your dependant on your income tax return.  However, if you are a single parent, you can claim one child as an eligible dependant.  In the event that both parents are eligible to make the claim, you both have to decide who will claim the child or the Canada Revenue Agency will disallow it for the both of you.  For more information, please see the following FAQ.
