According to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), you can expect to get your tax return under three weeks in the wake of documenting electronically. 

But if you file a paper tax return, expect a delay. Paper tax returns may take longer to process due to Covid-19 mail delays, which can take up to eight weeks.
