Am I allowed to deduct a charitable donation if I raise the money at my work? I buy candy and people donate to my candy store and 100% of money raised is donated.

I pay out of my own pocket for all candy and my co-workers donate whatever amount they want. 100% of the money donated by my co-workers is then given to the food bank at the end of the year. The donation receipt is in my name and my company has no affiliation to my candy stand other than it being located at my work desk.

If you received a donation receipt from the foodbank in your name, then yes, you can claim it as a donation.
