Can I claim a fee my doctor charged, to complete a disability insurance form, as a medical expense in Alberta, Canada?

CRA considers forms completed by Medical Practitioners to be a valid medical expense.

The completion of health and disability forms by a medical practitioner is considered to be ancillary to the provision of medical services and the associated costs may also be claimed as an eligible medical expense under paragraph 118.2(2)(a).

As physicians are recognized in every province as Authorized Medical Practitioners, this is an eligible medical expense.
