Can i claim lawyer fees for trying to claim child support

Whether or not you can claim your legal fees depends on your individual situation.

CRA states in the following Income Tax Bulletin "legal costs to obtain an order for child support are deductible. However, legal costs for seeking to obtain an increase in spousal or child support, or to make child support non-taxable are not deductible.
