Do I enter the Child Care expenses (aka Daycare) in the Additional Dependant Info section if I am claiming for Disabiltiy Tax Credit?

If I'm entering the daycare expenses later on with my receipts, do I still need to enter the "Child care and attendant care expenses claimed by anyone"?

Before entering your child care expense amounts, you need to enter some basic information about your dependants. Once you've provided TurboTax with that information, refer to the instructions provided to enter your child care expenses:

  1. From the menu, select Find
  2. In the Find window, enter child care expenses, select it from the list, and then select Go
  3. Answer Yes to the question Did you pay for child care? and then follow the steps to enter your child care expenses

If applicable, TurboTax will also prompt you to apply for the additional child care expense tax credit.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
