Do I get any tax benefit for taking care of my mother who lives with me at my house and I pay all her expenses but she is not infirm?

Hi there thanks for reading my question. My mom (65 this year) lives at my house (no rent involved) and I take care of her and pay for all her expenses. She has never worked in her life. Since my father passed away i have been looking after her. She is not infirm. She is healthy. Is there any tax benefit for my situation?

Unfortunately, there are no tax deductions or benefits anymore for caring and supporting your parent if they are not "infirm". You may be able to make a claim for any "medical expenses" your Mom may have, but remember that you need to have over 3% of your Mom's net income for these expenses to make a difference on your tax return.
