The disability tax credit is not based on your age.  It depends on how long is has been approved for by the Canada Revenue Agency.  If you are unsure of this and you are registered for the My Account service on the Canada Revenue Agency website, you can log into your account and verify how long your disability tax credit is approved for.  If you are not registered for the My Account service, you can contact the Canada Revenue Agency at 1 800 959 8281.
