Federal vs Provincial Donation Carryforward?

Is it possible to claim a different amount of charitable donations made on your provincial tax forms vs your federal tax forms?  By doing so you could end up with different donation claim amounts federal vs provincial, and therefore different carry forward donation amounts for future years between federal and provincial.

Federal vs Provincial Donation Carryforward?

Donations are Federal non-refundable tax credits and not Provincial. Regardless of which type of donation you made you will find it under the Federal non-refundable tax credit.
