First-Time Home Buyers' Tax Credit

I purchased a home with my boyfriend.
1) Can we both claim $2,500 for the tax credit?
2) Do I need to include the address of the house? I don't see a place for this.

Thanks!

Hi

If you are both on title and qualify, yes you can split the credit.  The address should be the same as your tax return - if the sale closed in 2015.  Since the credit applies to a principal residence only there is no need to enter the address.
