Hi, I received a relocation allowance from my previous employer which I have paid back due to early termination. How do I claim a deduction on Line 229?

If you are using TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online) , you can search for "Employment Expenses ", and then answer Yes to the first page, then "I received form T2200" from the next page. On the Employment Expense Profile check off "Other Employment Expenses", then continue to the Other Employment Expenses page, where you can enter the amount you paid back as "Other".
