How do I claim travel insurance which covers medical costs in Canada?

How do I enter insurance premiums which I paid for upfront for 2 years? I'm not covered by provincial health insurance (I'm not a resident, but I'm a resident for tax purposes). I purchased travel insurance which covers me for medical while in Canada but I bought 2x 1 year policies. Can I claim 1 year now and the other one next year, or do I claim both now?

When using TurboTax Free, you would claim these as medical expenses.  Medical expenses must be claimed in a 12 month period with the final month ending in the tax year you are filing.  For example, you can claim from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2018.  If both premiums were paid during that period, you can claim them both on your 2018 income tax return.
