How many previous years may I include in my medical deduction claims?

You can only include your previous medical expenses for a period of up to 12 months and ending in 2023 for this year's tax return. For more information please see our TurboTax FAQ: How do I choose a claim period for medical expenses? If you need to add medical expenses to previous years' tax returns, you can add them by adjusting those returns.
