I have submitted medical expenses, have gone back to try and add one more, but I no longer get the "add medical expense' live link to add another entry.

Add two of your expenses together and enter them on the last line. It doesn't matter if the payee isn't the same; just keep all your receipts in order in case the CRA asks to see details later.
