Are you using TurboTax Online? If so you can get back to the Medical Expenses part of the interview by using the Find tool to search for "med", then select "Medical Expenses Profile" from the list and click Go. Click Continue & Done until you get to the Medical Expenses Summary. There, delete any individual expenses that you entered by clicking Delete next to them. Then go back to the “Medical Expenses Profile” using the find tool. Click Continue, then click “Enter New Medical Expense”. Now it will give you the option to just enter your total, instead of a detailed receipt.
