In 2024, I donated to a charity with money that was crowdsourced. I was the one managing finances, so I was the one who donated. Do I need to claim this?

About 30 other people and I created merchandise and sold it online through preorders. I managed the finances, including receiving all the funds, organizing the merchandise production, and making the final donation, which consisted of the remaining funds from the preorders. I didn’t contribute any of my own money—only the crowdsourced funds were donated. Do I need to claim this?

No, you don't need to claim donations on your tax return. If you do, you can only claim donations that you personally made, not money that other people donated, even if it was you that handed over the funds to the charity.
