Is there a way to determine what portion of my refund was from child care credit?

You can see the amount that is calculated for Child Care Expenses by going to the Detailed Tax Summary. Click on the arrow next to your refund/balance due in the top left corner and click “View Detailed Tax Summary” under your bottom line. Child Care Expenses are on Line 21400. Then you can divide your refund by the amount you are getting for Child Care Expenses. Ex: If your refund is $1000 and you have $500 in Child Care Expenses, then your Child Care Expenses make up 50% of your refund.
