Is there a way to override and set the Basic DTC to $0 while having "yes" as an option? I not that in order to claim the CWB and use the DTC for someone else.

The person getting the CWB doesn't need the DTC, as they don't make enough for it to be useful.  Turbo Tax doesn't allow this option (or I can't find it)

No. The person needs to claim the DTC before they can transfer it, so if you set it to 0, they will have nothing to transfer.

Also, you *can* claim the Canada Workers Benefit if you are claiming the disability tax credit. In fact there is a disability supplement for the CWB which a tax payer might be eligible for if they are also claiming the DTC.
