My Parents separated and I took out a new mortgage with my mom and bought my father out of his share in the house. Can I claim the first time home buyers tax credit?

I am listed on the house deed but was unsure if i could claim it because my mother previously owned it with my father. Any help is appreciated

As this is YOUR first home that you have owned, YOU are able to make the claim.  Your mother does not qualify, but you do.  You can claim $5000.

I also lived in the house while they owned it.

If your mother is also listed on the mortgage, you will not be eligible for FTHB credit.
