Even though I've listed the charitable donations in one spouse's name when I finish that page TurboTax then shows it in the other person's name. How can I correct this?

I've seen this happen every year with TurboTax for quite a few years (all?). When doing returns as a couple, no matter what you do when entering or optimizing, it puts the donations all on the first person - which in my case is always the least optimal spouse to put it on. I agree with the repeated comments on this thread - can't this be fixed/changed? If I enter it on spouse #2 and that one is the most beneficial one, why would you bump it back to spouse #1 and make me change it again? It's disappointing if some people don't realize this and miss out on greater tax returns.
