There isn't enough entry lines for my receipts. What do I do now?
You can try grouping items together. Ex: if you rented the same cottage 3 times, add the expense amounts, and enter it once with the same date. Keep all receipts just in case the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has questions.
Also please note that there is a maximum expense limit of $1,000 as an individual or $2,000 as a family. Once you reach that limit, you will get no additional benefit from adding more expenses.
Me too, This is annoying I too overode the amount because it didn't carry over, and then it would let me netfile.
has anyone got this to work??? I have the most current update (april 28 2023)

Or you can file without the credit, and make an adjustment after you get your Notice Of Assessment to add it back.
Actually I found it but it’s weird. I entered the amount on one spouses return but it didn’t calculate , when I switched to the other spouses return even though I had not entered it, it had populated there as well and the amount had dropped into the correct box. Weird , I think it was because the other spouse was claiming the daycare etc as dependent? Very odd
