Why can't I claim any charitable donations?

I have income and have tax owing and the optimized donation amount to claim this year is set at zero.

If you want to change the amount of donations being claimed to something different then what the optimizer has chosen, you can do so by answering "YES" to the question "Do you want to change the amount to claim this year?", and then entering an amount in the box that appears on the bottom of the page.
