You can rest assured that the Dividend Tax Credit is being calculated correctly and being added to your tax return. You can see the credit being applied by looking at the PDF of your return, which shows the actual Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) forms. The Federal Dividend Tax Credit is on the T1 General Step 5 (formerly Schedule 1) on Line 40425. The Provincial Dividend Tax Credit is on form XX428 (XX = your province) on Line 61520.
