Where do I enter rent paid for private long-term care in a nursing home for the Trillium Benefit? These amounts are not eligible as medical expenses.

Using the Free version of Turbo Tax.  I only saw the option for public long-term care in the return options.  It makes a considerable difference in the benefit amount between the two types of care.

Once you have received the expense breakdown from the care facility, enter the rent portion in the same way as you would if you were paying rent in an apartment, etc. There's no need to select a special option to indicate the cost was related to a care home if it's not public long-term care.
