The purchase was completed in October 2021. I will move in to the condo as my principal residence after the tenant move out in May 2022. Am I eligible to file 45(2) election along with my 2021 Tax Return? In the Tax Return, do I need to fill in the condo address as the mailing/home address even thought it is renting out?
Also for change in use, do I have to file any other form/election in May 2022?

Instead of filing 45(2) with my 2021 Tax Return, should I file 45(3) after I move in in May 2022.
