Does anyone else have problems with this turbo tax???
there is no one to speak to at turbotax so there is no support for this program (unless you pay) except to ask questions to other users. Why do I have to add info about my ex?

A change in marital status in the tax year triggers that question. Depending on the date of marital change, this info may not be included in the calculation of credits, etc. but is required to move forward in the software.
