Foreign income entry and the line 10400 don't match

Hi,

I have entered my foreign income in Canadian dollars, but in line 10400 of the pdf version, which I printed at the very end of the filing stage to fax it to the government, it doesn't show the complete amount of what I entered in.

For example, if it's 480 dollars that I entered in, it shows 0 | 48, instead of 480 | 00, which then calculates as cents instead of dollars. So I also tried entering the amount before converting into Canadian dollars, and it fixes the issue, but I'm not sure if this is the right way because the government tells me to report it in Canadian dollars.

Does anyone know the solution to this? It will be very helpful.

If you enter your income on the Foreign Income Slip as CAD, then you don't need to enter an exchange rate - leave it at 1.0. You only need to enter an exchange rate if you are entering an amount in foreign currency.
